Cadaqués: a picturesque getaway near Barcelona
I visited Cadaqués in April 2022 and was immediately smitten with its picturesque boulevard and relaxed feeling outside the buzz of Barcelona. The town is located on the Cap de Creus peninsula, about 150 kilometers north of Barcelona. It is known for its whitewashed houses, cobblestone streets, and stunning coastal scenery.
One of the things I loved most about Cadaqués was its picturesque boulevard. It is lined with palm trees and restaurants, and offers stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea. I spent hours strolling along the boulevard, people-watching and enjoying the relaxed atmosphere.
Another thing I loved about Cadaqués was its relaxed feeling outside the buzz of Barcelona. The town is very popular with tourists, but it still retains a small-town charm. I felt like I could really relax and unwind in Cadaqués.

There is a fee for parking in Cadaqués. You can park in the car park located at the entrance to the town.
