Vegan Helsinki: A paradise for plant-based foodies

Helsinki is a great city for vegans, with a growing number of plant-based restaurants to choose from. Whether you're in the mood for Thai, Vietnamese, or junk food, there's a vegan option for you in Helsinki.

In this blog post, I'll introduce two of my favorite vegan restaurants in Helsinki: Thai Vegan Kitchen and Junky Vegan.

Thai Vegan Kitchen

Thai Vegan Kitchen is a small but popular vegan restaurant in the Kamppi district of Helsinki. The restaurant serves up a variety of classic Thai dishes, all made with vegan ingredients.

Some of my favorite dishes at Thai Vegan Kitchen include the pad thai, the green curry, and the mango sticky rice. The pad thai is made with wide rice noodles, tofu, vegetables, and a delicious tamarind sauce. The green curry is made with coconut milk, green chilies, and a variety of vegetables. The mango sticky rice is a classic Thai dessert made with sticky rice, mango, and coconut milk. It's also worth while to try beyond meat as protein, it's prepared so deliciously here.

The food at Thai Vegan Kitchen is always fresh and flavorful. The owners of the restaurant are passionate about vegan food, and it shows in the quality of the food.

Junky Vegan

Junky Vegan is a newer vegan restaurant in Helsinki, but it has quickly become a favorite among locals and tourists alike. The restaurant serves up a variety of vegan junk food, including burgers, fries, and shakes.

Some of my favorite dishes at Junky Vegan include the Junkly Burger, the Junky Fries, and the Junky Milkshake. The Junkly Burger is made with a vegan patty, vegan cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion. The Junky Fries are made with double-fried potatoes and a variety of toppings, including vegan cheese, vegan bacon, and vegan sour cream. The Junky Milkshake is made with a vegan milkshake base and a variety of toppings, including chocolate sauce, whipped cream, and sprinkles.

The food at Junky Vegan is delicious and fun. It's the perfect place to go when you're in the mood for a vegan junk food feast.

Peace Kitchen

The same owners of Thai Vegan Kitchen also have another vegan restaurant called Peace Kitchen. Peace Kitchen is a more upscale vegan restaurant than Thai Vegan Kitchen, and it serves a variety of creative vegan dishes.

Some of the dishes at Peace Kitchen include the mushroom risotto, the vegan duck confit, and the chocolate mousse. The mushroom risotto is made with wild mushrooms, arborio rice, and a creamy vegan sauce. The vegan duck confit is made with portobello mushrooms that are cooked slowly until they are tender and juicy. The chocolate mousse is made with dark chocolate, aquafaba, and coconut cream.

The food at Peace Kitchen is delicious and beautifully presented. It's the perfect place to go for a special occasion or if you're in the mood for a more upscale vegan meal.

Helsinki is a great city for vegans, with a growing number of plant-based restaurants to choose from. Whether you're in the mood for Thai, Vietnamese, or junk food, there's a vegan option for you in Helsinki.

I highly recommend visiting Thai Vegan Kitchen and Junky Vegan if you're looking for delicious vegan food in Helsinki.
